It all begins with a need.
The International Digital Arts Alliance is a non-profit organization established in 2023 in Montreal by Isabella Salas (digital artist and producer) and Alexandre Emond-Turcotte (creative director).
The project was born to start a necessary dialogue, cross-pollination of knowledge, and mutualization between media art researchers, artists, librarians, archivists, developers, producers, technologists, and digital assets managers.
Our goals are to establish a methodology and framework to treat digital art and assets as heritage material to reduce the impact of technological obsolescence.
We are an organization accompanying artists, cultural institutions and creative industries in fostering collaboration, education, and sustainable practices to promote the long-term viability of our ever-evolving sector.
